About Us

Family Bible Church is committed to glorifying God through the confession that Jesus Christ is God in human flesh, holding to the authority of God’s Word, providing expository Bible teaching/peaching, making disciples through evangelism and training, and welcoming families and individuals to a church in which they can be built up in the faith.

This commitment comes by grace through faith, believing that Jesus Christ died to pay the price of sin on behalf of sinners, and is put to practice by obedience to the Word of God.

We are also committed to evangelism by using the Bible to call sinners to place their faith in Christ, and by Biblical training that helps equip believers to serve God. We believe the local church is a place for people to be a family that serves and cares for one another in a way that honors God.

Family Bible Church is a relatively new church plant located in Knoxville, Tennessee, that began holding public worship in November 2021. It is currently being led by a pastoral team, four men who are committed to shepherding the FBC family until God enables a full-time pastor to be called. We refer to this current ministry and leadership structure as a “team pastor.” You can learn more about the pastoral team under the menu link “Our Leadership.” We warmly welcome you to our worship service each Sunday morning.
